Admission to training

Defender Ukrainian Training Centre is part of Kyiv Volunteer Fire Service. Admissions follow Ukrainian legislation and the approved Admission Rules.

Training for 5169 “Sapper (Demining)” is provided within the licensed capacity.

Main admission conditions:

• applicants must be at least 18 years old;
• required education — completed general secondary education;
• study format — full-time;
• admissions are handled by the admissions committee;
• selection is based on a ranking list and/or interview results;
• admission is without ZNO/NMT examinations;
• applicants submit an application, proof of education, identification, medical documents and other documents required by the Rules;
• enrolment is confirmed by an order of the Training Centre’s director.

The admissions committee is open Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:00, with a lunch break from 12:00–13:00.

Intake and course start dates depend on approved study plans and the formation of training groups.
