Partnership and cooperation

Working together for people’s safety and stronger communities.

Kyiv Volunteer Fire Service welcomes cooperation with businesses, local communities, charitable foundations, NGOs, educational institutions and international partners.

We welcome joint initiatives in fire safety, civil protection, vocational training, humanitarian demining and social support for rescuers.

Areas of cooperation

  • Fire safety and community support

Cooperate with the VARTA Volunteer Fire and Rescue Team by supporting equipment, practical training and readiness to respond to hazardous incidents.

We welcome communities and businesses seeking to strengthen fire safety and develop volunteer firefighting.

  • Training and sharing experience

Joint educational activities at the Defender Ukrainian Training Centre, involving teachers and instructors, sharing practical experience and developing training facilities.

Potential areas include fire safety, occupational safety, first aid, volunteer firefighter training and humanitarian demining training.

  • Humanitarian demining

Cooperation with the Safe Land humanitarian demining group: supporting specialist training, providing equipment and mine risk education initiatives.

Specific tasks and terms of participation are agreed according to project needs and legal requirements.

  • Support for rescuers and veterans

Joint initiatives for career transition, employment, retraining and involving experienced rescuers in teaching, mentoring and community activities.

We welcome employers, educational institutions and organisations ready to create opportunities for veterans and retirees of the Civil Protection Service.
