Accommodation availability, vacancies and fees

Defender Ukrainian Training Centre provides organisational support for learners undertaking vocational training, including those arriving from other towns and cities in Ukraine.

Arranging accommodation

The Defender Training Centre does not have its own dormitory. Accommodation during training can be arranged under an agreement with an accommodation provider.

During vocational training for 5169 “Sapper (Demining)”and humanitarian demining training, learners may be accommodated in rooms provided by ТОВ «КИЇВРІЧСЕРВІС».

The agreement provides for accommodation of up to 32 beds.

The number of beds available at the course start date is confirmed when the group and course are organised.

Accommodation arrangements

Accommodation needs are established before training starts based on information from the learner or the business, institution, organisation or mine action operator sending staff for vocational training.

Accommodation is arranged taking account of:

  • the number of learners needing accommodation;
  • training dates;
  • the programme’s duration;
  • actual bed availability;
  • the accommodation agreement’s terms.

Accommodation fees

Accommodation fees depend on the length of stay, number of learners, accommodation conditions and other service terms.

Payment arrangements are defined in agreements concluded by the Defender Training Centre of Kyiv Volunteer Fire Service:

  • with mine action operators, businesses, institutions and organisations sending staff for training;
  • or directly with individuals paying for their own training.

Accommodation conditions, check-in arrangements, duration and final fees are communicated to learners or customers before training starts.

Information for applicants and learners

When each group is formed, learners needing accommodation can notify the Centre in advance.

The Centre provides information on vacancies, check-in dates, accommodation conditions and fees.

Although it has no dormitory of its own, Defender Ukrainian Training Centre has a contractual arrangement to accommodate up to 32 learners during training.
