“VARTA” Volunteer Fire and Rescue Team
“VARTA” Volunteer Fire and Rescue Team of the NGO “Kyiv Volunteer Fire Service” was established to provide an initial response to fires and other hazardous incidents.
The team's main task is to start immediate response actions in the first minutes of an incident, before units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrive, including at sites covered by relevant agreements.
“VARTA” brings together serving fire and rescue professionals and veterans who have developed their resilience, physical endurance and skills through years of firefighting, emergency response and dealing with the aftermath of enemy attacks.
Specially equipped vehicles, fire and rescue equipment and the team's experience help us be ready to respond when every minute matters.
